The ladies of the Rebecca Dewey Chapter, NSDAR, are tied together by their desire to serve their community and strive to enhance the objectives of the National Society.
Three Oaks Flag Day Parade

Every year, the Rebecca Dewey Chapter, NSDAR, participates in the Three Oaks, Michigan, Flag Day Parade. It is known as the largest Flag Day parade in America, the route is straight through Three Oaks! Daughters have marched in the parade since its inception in 1952!
The Rebecca Dewey Lending Library

In 2022, the chapter installed a community lending library and continues to stock it with books. Located in front of the Niles-Brandywine Girls Softball Fields on Bell Road, this little library is waiting for you to find your next favorite read. Cleaning out your space and looking to rehome some of your books? Drop them by and maybe someone will enjoy it as much as you did!
Honoring Our Local Patriots

We believe that it is important to remember the service and sacrifices of all the community members who have served in the armed forces. Several times a year the chapter cleans the cemetery, plants flowers, and places flags to honor those who have served.
Community Classroom
The Rebecca Dewey Chapter, NSDAR, supports classrooms and teachers in the area with yearly supply drives, classroom specific needs, and multiple grant opportunities throughout the year. The chapter has sponsored National essay contests and DAR Good Citizens Awards for decades, awarding class prizes and scholarships annually to area high school seniors. We are always looking for classrooms and teachers to build new relationships with. Contact us if you know a local teacher who could benefit from our Community Classroom support.

Blessing of the Graves
